In this final assignment the class is divided into groups to make an observation to the traditional house in Taman Mini. My group decided to choose Sangihe house for this project. We should draw elevations, sections, floor plans, perspectives for interior and exterior, detail drawing, block plan, house model, block plan model, and a poster. Each of us will be divided again to observe each part of the house. I decided to observe the stairs. So, I should draw two perspectives for the front stair and the back stair, and an individual model of the stairs. Then, the elevation, section, and floor plan should be traced by drawing pen and we must differentiate the material by draw the textures.

 

I made two posters because the first poster (the upper) is not interesting because it has so many texts and the sequence of the drawings are confusing. So, I decided to remake the poster (below the first poster)

Human drawing practice

After saw there was so many drawings that only have few human in the midterm, the lecturer decided to make a practice in drawing human. We should draw human as many as possible with different position and activities

In this assignment, we started to study about the section, plan, and elevation. Section is a drawing of an object from the place it sliced. Elevation is a drawing of an object from the side two dimensionally. Plan is a drawing of an object from the above two dimensionally. In this assignment, I should draw the section, elevation, and plan of a chair in the studio and a table in EC lobby.

Mid term

In mid term test, I should transform the EC lobby into the other function without change its building structure. But, the location is still in Engineering Faculty. I decided to make a plaza where there are many vendors there. The vendors are souvenirs, clothing, food, drink, and stationary. I decided to make a plaza because plaza is a place for people to gathering. But, my lecturer didn't see any gathering in my drawings. There are only few people. So, it doesn't match with the concept.
